A Pioneering Initiative – India’s First Diaspora-Academia Session

The morning session was a standalone experience. It was a first-of-its-kind event that bridged the gap between experts and students, giving the future leaders direct access to industry titans.

Moderated by KV Kumar, President & CEO of the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce (IAICC) and a US-based business leader, the discussion brought together Dr Lalit K. Panwar, former Union Tourism Secretary and special invitee advisor to NITI Aayog; Dr Randeep Suneja, Founder, Director and CEO of the Cardiology Center of Houston; David Munger, Co-Owner and Director of Munger Farms; and Nikita Kumawat, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Brandworks Technologies, with conversations spanning tourism, healthcare, agriculture, AI, and startup ecosystems.

An Evening Celebration – A Tribute to Indian Excellence

We were determined to make sure the evening was more than just a celebration — it had to be a statement, a resounding one that would echo for years to come.

And what an event it was! From the red carpet welcome to thoughtfully curated book displays, a reading lounge, and immersive photo experiences, every detail was designed to reflect purpose and pride.

The grand launch took place in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Sanjay Kumar Verma, Dr Vaikuntam Iyer Lakshmanan, and Ishwar Kumhar.

The evening opened with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, followed by the unveiling of the book — a powerful compilation of 70 inspiring stories across 13 countries, capturing the journeys of Indians shaping industries worldwide. In his address, Shri Shekhawat described the evening not merely as a book launch, but as a celebration of India’s identity — echoing the timeless philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
