This month, as we observed World Environment Day, we were reminded that it is no longer just about planting trees or picking up trash. It is more about sustainable impact through green initiatives.
Maneesh Media has always done its part by practising sustainable printing practices, and much of it has been to ensure that our carbon footprint is kinder to the world. Through our stories, we have brought forth people who demonstrate that progress and sustainability go hand in hand. We have had the privilege of documenting journeys of green champions and visionaries such as Dr. Sankar DasGupta, whose pioneering work in clean energy is helping power a greener future; the Munger Brothers, whose contributions to agriculture reflect a commitment to responsible growth; Sushil Kejriwal, whose investments in renewable energy and infrastructure are creating long-term impact; Preety Singh, who are preserving India's artisanal heritage through sustainable business practices.
As we prepare for Jewels of India – Bharat Ki Shaan, Bharat Ka Abhiman Vol. 2.0, we look forward to bringing many more such stories to the forefront—stories that celebrate achievement, inspire change, and showcase the very best of Bharat to the world.
Our team is in the US and will be travelling to Texas. So, if you know someone—or are someone—who deserves to be recognised as Bharat Ki Shaan, Bharat Ka Abhiman, we would love to hear from you.
Until then, we hope you enjoy this newsletter.
Let's create a circle of stories together...

From Our Journals
Notes from our storytelling journeys
Some memories are too precious to stay tucked away in a drawer. When parents entrusted us with their children's artwork, we transformed crayon sketches, doodles, and dreams into a keepsake that celebrates the wonder of growing up and the magic of imagination.
