TIE Global Summit in Jaipur: Epicentre of Innovation

Maneesh Media had the distinct honour of attending the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026 at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), welcoming over 10,000 entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and ecosystem leaders from more than 30 countries.

The summit was inaugurated in the presence of senior government leadership including Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, alongside Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology and Railways, Shri Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State, Shri Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Cabinet Minister, Government of Rajasthan. Senior state officials including Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Rajasthan, and Dr. Ravi Kumar Surpur, Secretary, IT & Communication, Government of Rajasthan, were also in attendance.
Anchored around the theme “Sustainable Entrepreneurship in the AI Age – Innovation, Impact and Inclusion,” the summit featured conversations on artificial intelligence, deep tech, fintech, climate innovation, startup funding, policy frameworks, and global market access. Prominent global and Indian business leaders who addressed the summit included Kanwal Rekhi, co-founder of TiE and Managing Director at Inventus Capital Partners, who also released his new book during the summit.
Maneesh Media has featured Kanwal Rekhi and other influential figures such as Naren Bakshi, a founding figure associated with the early growth of TiE in India; Anita Manwani, Global Board of Trustees member of TiE and a long-standing leader within the TiE Silicon Valley ecosystem; Navneet Chugh, an early TiE charter member and mentor known for his contribution to community-driven entrepreneurship; and Narpat Bhandari, among the early TiE associates who played a role in strengthening the organisation’s India connect.
With Rajasthan positioning itself as a future-ready technology and startup destination, the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026 reinforced Jaipur’s growing role on the global innovation map.

THE GROUNDBREAKING RELEASE – KANWAL REKHI’S NEW BOOK
A key highlight of the summit was the spotlight on Kanwal Rekhi’s newly released book, “The Groundbreaker: Risks, Rewards & Lessons from a Legendary Entrepreneur.” The book chronicles Rekhi’s journey from India to Silicon Valley, the founding of TiE, and lessons from decades of building companies, mentoring founders and shaping global entrepreneurial ecosystems. Discussions around the book were closely aligned with the summit’s focus on mentorship, long-term value creation and responsible leadership.
