The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) marked a significant milestone with the official launch of its Dallas Chapter at Bhartiya Nivas, bringing together leaders from across the Indian-American community in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) region.
The chapter is being led by Muthu G. Mudaliar, a respected community leader and President of GOPIO Dallas, who has also been featured in the latest edition of Jewels of India -Bharat Ki Shaan, Bharat Ka Abhiman. His leadership reflects a growing recognition of Indian-origin professionals who are shaping global networks of influence through service, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
The inauguration was graced by Shri D.C. Manjunath, Consul General of India in Houston, whose presence underscored the strategic importance of the Indian diaspora in strengthening India–U.S. ties.
Under Mudaliar’s leadership, along with Executive Vice President Vinoth Mani, GOPIO Dallas aims to create a dynamic platform connecting Indian-American professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to GOPIO’s global network of over 100 chapters. The chapter’s vision is anchored in five key pillars—strengthening the diaspora’s collective voice, enabling global engagement, fostering leadership and collaboration, building professional networks, and encouraging meaningful community contribution.
