The evening of the grand book launch of Jewels of India- Bharat ki Shaan, Bharat ka Abhiman by Maneesh Media, India’s leading diaspora publishing house, at The Ashok, New Delhi was everything the audience saw, elegant, vibrant, and perfectly organised.

From the registration desk, the red carpet welcome which was dotted on both sides with large banners of the awardees and spaces for their autographs, to the photo booth, reading lounge, and more, the event set a benchmark for true global excellence. 

The grand ceremony was attended by distinguished leaders, diplomats, and Indian diaspora families from across the world. The book was formally unveiled in the presence of Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture & Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former High Commissioner of India to Canada and former UPSC Member Sanjay Kumar Verma; Dr.Vaikuntam Iyer Lakshmanan, Chairman of Process Research Ortech Inc, Shri Ishwar Kumhar, Founder, Brandswork Technologies Pvt. Ltd, and the Directors of Maneesh Media – Maneesh, Abhishek, and Siddharth Kumawat.

Welcoming the gathering, Manish Kumawat, Director, Maneesh Media, described the evening as a tribute to the legacy of founder Late Shri Chandmal Kumawat and a celebration of Indian pride worldwide. He noted that the book features inspiring success stories of 70 families from 13 countries and represents months of dedicated effort to document global Indian excellence. 

The evening featured a ceremonial lamp-lighting by the Chief Guests, Mrs. Ratan Kumawat, and dignitaries, followed by felicitation ceremonies honouring awardees featured in the book, alongside reflections on India’s growth story as one driven not only by economic milestones but by people and their journeys. 

Addressing the distinguished gathering, Shri Shekhawat emphasised that the evening was not merely the launch of a book but a celebration of India’s identity and pride, invoking the timeless ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world as one family.

The book features 70 inspiring life stories of businessmen, startup founders, doctors, scientists, and community leaders from diverse parts of India who are now shaping industries and societies across 12 countries, including the United States, Canada, the UAE, Kenya, Oman, Thailand, Seychelles, Uganda, and Ghana.

The gathering, which served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, networking, and renewed commitment to strengthening ties between India and its global community, also included a  sand-art storytelling tribute to Maneesh Media’s journey and vision and a mesmerising performance by a mentalist. 

Formal addresses by Shri Ishwar Kumhar and the Hon’ble Ministers preceded the official unveiling of the book and a felicitation ceremony honouring distinguished awardees featured in the publication. Inspirational sessions by leadership coach Sanjeev Sachdev and insights into real estate in the UAE by Mital Doshi set the tone for the evening. 

The evening concluded with a delectable spread, satisfied guests, and a very tired yet happy Maneesh Media team.
