Any event looks effortless on stage, but behind every spotlight moment lies a full day of energy, coordination, and a lot of coffee! The launch of Jewels of India- Bharat ki Shaan, Bharat ka Abhiman by Maneesh Media at The Ashok, New Delhi in New Delhi wasn’t just an evening celebration, it was an all-day experience filled with learning, excitement, and behind-the-scenes hustle.

The Morning Buzz: Industry Meets Academia

The day began much before the book launch, with a special Industry Academia Knowledge Session designed for college students. The idea was simple yet powerful, bringing students face-to-face with real industry voices and giving them insights beyond textbooks. 

But behind the calm and professional setup was a fast-moving preparation zone.

From arranging registration desks to taking their positions to welcome the guests, the team was already in full action mode by early morning. The night before had brought the news that one of our five invited speakers had to opt out. The mad rush at 10pm in the night to find another speaker caused more than a few raised blood pressures but everything was quickly sorted.

Morning brought with it  last-minute coordination with the five invited speakers, which kept everyone on their toes, confirming arrival timings, session flow, and microphones checks. In the meanwhile, student groups started arriving with curiosity and excitement, while volunteers guided them to their seats. The microphones decided to take a pause and that caused some glitches before everything could flow smoothly. So, how did the session turn out?

Transition Mode: From Knowledge Sharing to Collective Celebration

The morning session had only just successfully concluded, but there was more to be done. A pause to breathe in some food and the team was at it again! The evening event was at a grander scale so the efforts had to be similar. As much as we would have liked it to be a marathon, it became a sprint!

But our team switched on gears like the pros we are! Standees were repositioned, book displays were arranged carefully, lighting angles were adjusted, and branding elements were refined to match the celebratory tone of the evening. Boxes of freshly printed books arrived, always a magical moment. Team members handled each copy with care, aligning them perfectly for display. Meanwhile, the entire sequence for the evening went topsy turvy. But we recovered, quick fixes were found and we managed to give the audience a show that they deserved!
